The Get Run Fit – Run to Reach 10km program is a 6 week program that is aimed at anyone looking to build from 5km to their first 10km.
It also caters perfectly for those who have been injured and are trying to return to running while rebuilding confidence and capability in a gentle and gradual way.
The ultimate aim of this program is to help you to run your first 10km in an enjoyable way while reducing risk of injury and helping you to become a stronger, more balanced runner. If you are embarking on this program, it is assumed that you can comfortably run for 30 minutes without stopping.

The program is based on 3 run sessions per week and supporting strength work. As there are only 3 runs per week this also lends itself to work alongside other strength training programs or simply follow the running specific sessions included in this program.
No equipment is needed for the strength sessions within this resource.
Once you have completed the program, you will not just be able to run further, but you will have an understanding on how to train effectively to run further without burnout and while minimising risk of injury.
